Outdoor beach wedding in Traverse City, Michigan
I took a few days and flew across the country to Washington (ST) and visited my sister, brother in-law and niece. It was an amazing, refreshing few days. I never knew how beautiful the west coast really was but now after this trip I'm sold.
This past weekend I was lucky enough to be apart of the beginning stages to Big B Hog Farms website *coming soon* by snapping a few shots around the farm.
Along with hanging out with a few pigs, cows and walking around a glorious veggie garden I was able to hang out with some wonderful ladies that include the beautiful and hilarious Ryanne Donahue and my big sis for the afternoon.
Mark was such a trooper and kept our beautiful niece cool while us girls walked around capturing some pictures on such a beautiful sunny day!
More information coming soon once the site launches and goes live!
After Amsterdam, why not take a 4 day jaunt to Dubai? With 100 degree+ heat and a beach in the "back yard", life just doesn't get much better than Dubai.
I wouldn't have been able to make the amazing trip, again, without the hosting of my wonderful in-laws who just happen to have a condo in one of the most beautiful resorts on the Palm. Getting to spend 4 wonderful days with them was such a wonderful way to spend a short vacation. While it was hard to leave, seeing the husband after 2 weeks wasn't a bad tradeoff.
Until next time, XOXO Dubai
First stop on my 2 weeks of adventures took me back to Amsterdam for a week. I almost forgot how much I loved this city, but after this trip I was quickly reminded. Nothing like the hustling and bustling furry of bicycles and an overload of espresso to set you right.
Vaarwell Amsterdam! Up Next…DUBAI!
I can not believe that it has been a month since my last post. Shame on me, I know. However, I think I get a little slack considering I was out of the country for 1 week and then recovering for another. Lies, but all the same a nice break after a trip like that was well worth it.
To give a little break down of the trip I went with work colleges for a work trip but we certainly made time to explore and eat probably the most delicious food I've had in a LONG time. Absolutely amazing. If you're ever thinking about taking a trip to Europe, stop in Amsterdam. You won't regret it--and I'm not referring to smoking weed, but simply that the Dutch are so nice and don't ultimately scowl at you for speaking English.
These were just a few of my favorites and to just give you a taste of how amazing the city is.
A few highlights:
THE BIKES! --truly incredible sight, and the fact that they stop for NO ONE.
The Food--all fresh and served in (non- traditional American) interesting combinations.
The Night Life-- everyone stays up late and who could blame them living in a city like this?
Happiness-- Everyone there, I swear, is happy. (not intended to make weed reference)...but now it does actually make a bit more sense....
Stop back for more!
This weekend, at random, Mark says to me…"Wanna go see some pirates?" My response…"Duh."
So we headed out to Grand Rapids for the Real Pirates exhibit showing at the Van Andel Museum. It Turned out to be just the ticket for our Saturday afternoon. We'll be the first to admit we're shut-ins. we love to stay in on the weekends, watch Netflix and, at all costs, not socialize with others. However, we figured this was a great opportunity to get out, smell the fresh city air and go see us some pirates. If anyone is interested, the exhibit is going on until April! Arrrrrrr.
